How to become a Paynova client

Becoming a Paynova client is simple. See the description of the five steps below:

1. Basic information

We need answers to a few questions first of all. The answers may differ greatly depending on your sales strategy. We’ll help you answer the questions – don’t hesitate to contact one of our salespeople.

  • Which markets do I want to sell in?
  • Do I currently have sales in these markets in the physical world, or are these new markets for me?
  • Where is my headquarters?
  • Do I currently have an acquiring agreement with a bank?
  • What level of monthly transaction volume do I expect for each market?
  • What is the average transaction size?
  • How are customers currently paying?

2. Application

Once the basic information has been collected, Paynova can quickly assess which services are right for you and which model is best for your business (Paynova Account, Processing etc.). If an agreement with another party such as an acquiring bank is necessary, Paynova will take care of the administration on your behalf.

3. Contract

A contract is signed between the parties, including appendices for optional services. (Ordinarily Paynova’s client contract is not based on exclusivity; instead it is based on the shared objective of creating the best and most effective solution for the merchant. However it may be exclusive in cases where Paynova develops customized solutions exclusively for a particular merchant.)

4. Connection

Before you can begin using Paynova’s services, you need a connection to our payment platform. We provide your technology staff with technical manuals for the connection. Ordinarily an integration is implemented and tested over two weeks. If you are already using an e-commerce platform that is a Paynova partner, it will go even faster. Our current platform partners are:

  • Intershop
  • Oxid
  • IBM Websphere
  • Magento
  • Trippus

5. Going Live

After we’ve tested some transactions together, it’s time to go live. Paynova’s merchant support transmits the live production keys to you, and your customers can start shopping!
