The Paynova wallet

The Paynova wallet is no longer an active service. However your funds still exist, protected in accordance with the law on client accounts. If your Paynova account has a balance, you can choose to transfer the funds to a bank account according to the instructions below.

Transfer to Bank Account

If your Paynova account has a balance, you can choose to transfer the funds to a bank account according to the instructions below. Note that steps 3 and 4 differ depending on whether you are making a transfer to:

a) a bank account in Sweden in SEK
b) a bank account in the EU, or in Sweden that is not in SEK
c) a bank account in the rest of the world.

Example: If you have a bank account in Sweden, but the currency is not SEK, follow steps 1 and 2 as stated below. When you come to the next step, follow the instructions according to 3b and 4b, because this transfer is belongs to category b) above. Complete the transfer by following steps 5 and 6.

Instructions

Log in to your wallet.

  1. Select the “Settings” tab and the “Customize / My recipient list” menu.
  2. Click on the “Add” button under the “Saved bank accounts” section to add a bank account.
  3. 3a. Select “Country” “Currency” and “Bank” and click “Next.” 
    3b. Select “Country” and the account type ”BIC/IBAN”  and click the ”Next” button.
    3c. Select “Country” and the account type SWIFT/Account number and click the ”Next” button.
  4. 4a. Fill in the “Clearing number” and “Account number” fields and click “Next.”
    4b. Enter the bank name, BIC (Swift) and IBAN. Note that the BIC must be between 8 and 11 characters, and the IBAN has a maximum of 24 characters. Click the “Next” button.
    4c. Fill in the “bank name" field, Swift address etc. Note that the BIC must be between 8 and 11 characters. Click the “Next” button.
  5. Fill in the “First name” and “Last name” fields etc. and click “Next.”
  6. Approve this by clicking the “Save” button.

When your bank account has been saved, select the “Wallet” tab and the “Withdrawal” menu.

  1. Select “recipient" and enter the amount you wish to withdraw from the wallet. Click “Next.”
  2. Fill in the text you want the recipient to see. You can also enter your own notes here. Click on the “Next” button.
  3. Check the withdrawal information to make sure it's correct, and approve the withdrawal by clicking on the "OK" button. If you want to stop the withdrawal, click the “Stop” button.

It takes up to 5 banking days to complete the transfer.
